A major WWE star shared a throwback to an iconic match against Charlotte Flair a decade ago. Flair suffered a torn ACL, MCL, and meniscus one year ago today in a singles match against Asuka on the December 8, 2023, episode of SmackDown.

Natalya took to social media to react to the USA Network's post about her match against Charlotte Flair a decade ago. It was Flair's first match on RAW, and The Queen of Harts noted they did not have much time to prepare for it.

However, the veteran added that they were able to show what they were capable of in the iconic match.

"I remember giving this our all despite not having a lot of time, but knowing the magic that we made in our very special 2014 NXT Takeover match, we knew we would get our chance again to prove what we could to together. And we did," she wrote.

Charlotte Flair to return and wrestle a CURRENT CHAMPION?

Natalya has not competed in a match on WWE RAW since the Battle Royal to determine Liv Morgan's next challenger for the Women's World Championship on November 3. IYO SKY won the Battle Royal and will be challenging Morgan for the title next weekend at Saturday Night's Main Event.

Former WWE writer suggests interesting Charlotte Flair storyline for when she returns

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently pitched a unique storyline for Charlotte Flair upon her return to the promotion.

Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo show, the veteran stated that Flair should rank among the top ten female stars in the company when she makes her return. Russo claimed that the former champion should retire in the storyline if she loses to any of them.

"And if I'm Charlotte Flair, 'I've been gone for a long time, I get it, a lot of the women have come into prominence in my absence. I get it, I understand, and, basically, to prove myself all over again, I'm gonna start from 10 and work my way up, and along the line if I get pinned by any of these individuals I will retire from the WWE. That's how good I think I am. I will start at the bottom and work my way up, and if somebody can beat me I will pack my bags and go home,'" Russo said. [From 4:08 – 4:55]
