A major WWE Superstar teased bringing back an old gimmick ahead of a huge match later this month. Gunther defeated Damian Priest at WWE SummerSlam over the weekend to capture the World Heavyweight Championship.
The Ring General defeated Randy Orton in the finals of the King of the Ring tournament in May. However, The Viper's shoulder was not on the mat during the pinfall and Triple H teased a potential rematch. Randy Orton showed up during the opening segment of last night's RAW and challenged Gunther to a title match at WWE Bash in Berlin on August 31.
The leader of Imperium accepted the challenge and the match was made official for the Premium Live Event in Germany at the end of the month. During the promo between the two stars last night on RAW, Randy Orton noted that the World Heavyweight Champion referred to himself as a living legend. The veteran stated that he has made a career out of killing legends, teasing the return of his iconic Legend Killer gimmick at Bash in Berlin.

Randy Orton believes WWE SmackDown star could be a world champion
Randy Orton recently claimed that Austin Theory has the potential to be a world champion down the line.
In an exclusive interview with Sportskeeda Wrestling's Bill Apter earlier this year, Randy Orton noted that Theory has everything it takes to become a star in the company. He added that the former United States Champion is motivated and could capture a major title in the future.
"It's hard, I don't have a crystal ball or anything, but Austin Theory is young and he's got a great look. I know where his head's at. I've had plenty of talks with him, and a lot of the things that I did as a kid that I maybe shouldn't have, the distractions that I was confronted with, he doesn't have those. I think he's just a little more gung-ho, motivated. He sees the goal, he sees the prize, he knows what he wants. I think he'll definitely be a world champion one day," Orton said. [1:33 – 2:08]

Gunther put together a remarkable reign as Intercontinental Champion and held the title for 666 days before being dethroned by Sami Zayn at WWE WrestleMania XL. Only time will tell how long the 36-year-old can hold onto the World Heavyweight Championship following his victory at WWE SummerSlam.
