Major WWE star wants The Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio to evolve further in the coming years

The Judgment Day's Dominik Mysterio is one of WWE's hottest rising stars, and the second-generation star hasn't even reached his prime yet. Recently, Cody Rhodes spoke highly of Dirty Dom. The American Nightmare wished to see the 27-year-old evolve further in the business.

A few years ago, Dominik Mysterio turned on his father Rey Mysterio, and stepped out of his shadow for the first time. The move changed the trajectory of the former NXT North American Champion's career. However, Cody Rhodes has claimed that there's more to come from Dirty Dom.

In an interview on Good Karma Wrestling, Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes called Dominik a "great contributor to WWE," adding that the RAW Superstar's story with Liv Morgan was ''incredible!'' Moreover, the 39-year-old claimed that Dirty Dom would evolve further in the coming years.

"I mean, this guy was involved in a match for his own custody as a child. Now, he's a great contributor to WWE, whether they boo him out of the building or not. We like that; that's an awesome thing to see. And he and Liv [Morgan] have had an incredible story. Dom [Mysterio] is somebody that I'm looking at a story that I want to watch, and I can tune into WWE in 15 years. I expect to see him in a completely different light. Nothing like we have now and a full evolution of his character," Rhodes said. (From 24:58 to 25:31)

Cody Rhodes defeated Dominik Mysterio at WWE Money in the Bank 2023

Last year, Cody Rhodes' dream ended abruptly at WrestleMania in California when The Bloodline's Solo Sikoa cost him the match against Roman Reigns. This forced The American Nightmare to take a detour before coming face-to-face with the Original Tribal Chief.

Meanwhile, the original iteration of The Judgment Day was running riot on Monday Night RAW at the time. The heinous stable crossed paths with different stars on the red brand, including Cody Rhodes.

Later, Cody Rhodes challenged Dominik Mysterio to a match at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event in London. However, Dirty Dom lost to the 39-year-old star in less than nine minutes.

Meanwhile, both stars will appear at the upcoming Bad Blood PLE. While Cody will join forces with Roman Reigns to battle Jacob Fatu and Solo Sikoa, Dominik Mysterio will be suspended above the ring inside a shark cage during the Women's World Title encounter between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley.
