It will be the final episode of WWE SmackDown ahead of Saturday Night's Main Event, and Chelsea Green will take on Bayley in the semifinals of the Women's United States Championship Tournament. Green is rumored to be the woman walking out of the event as the new Women's United States Champion, which means that she should defeat Bayley tonight and book her place in the final.
Ahead of the show, Green sent a message to Bayley to make it clear that she would be leaving the tournament tonight before Bayley responded and was met with a "workplace harassment" claim.
Bayley claimed that she had a good run in the tournament and wished her better luck for next time. Green then tagged SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis to read.
Top name doesn't want to enter the WWE Hall of Fame. More details HERE.
Of course, this wouldn't be the only semifinal taking place tonight, since Michin will go one-on-one against Tiffany Stratton.
Will Chelsea Green become the first-ever WWE Women's United States Champion at Saturday Night's Main Event?
Chelsea Green has been rumored to be winning the title and has always been one of the front-runners for the championship since she has been one of the most entertaining parts of the women's division since she made her return in 2023.
Green has also received high praise from backstage officials in WWE for her work over the past two years, and in that time, she has been able to lift the Women's Tag Team Championship.
This would be Green's first singles championship in WWE, since she is one of several current women, including Michin, who have never been able to lift a singles title.
It will be interesting to see if this run comes to an end at Saturday Night's Main Event or if she even makes it past Bayley tonight on SmackDown.
