Mark Henry has reflected on a moment in WWE that made him cry. He was overcome with emotion after his match against Randy Orton in 2011.

The World's Strongest Man received a major push that year which saw him dethrone The Viper at Night of Champions to become World Heavyweight Champion for the first time. He successfully defended the title against Randy Orton in a Hell in a Cell match at the eponymous Premium Live Event the following month.

During a recent appearance on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, Mark Henry stated that he cried when he got to his hotel room after the match, as he couldn't believe that he was the World Heavyweight Champion.

"I remember getting to my hotel. I mean, it was Hell in a Cell, a rough match. I had a bunch of scratches and stuff from being in the cage and I got cleaned up and everything again because I had bled through my shirt and my shirt was stuck to me on the drive back to the hotel. So I got back to the hotel and I showered again, cleaned up, and I'm laying in the bed," said Henry. [1:08:00-1:08:35]

He added:

"And I'm looking at the chair next to me with the title on it, with my bag open on the floor, and I ended up putting my feet back on the floor. I remember crying and looking at the title for like 30 minutes; I just sat there and I was just staring at it, like I couldn't believe that it was in my room, and that I was sitting here looking at this title like it was a person and thinking about the history."
