Massive title change will happen at WWE SummerSlam 2024 that will make fans happy, says Dutch Mantell (Exclusive)

WWE SummerSlam is just hours away, and several fans seemed hyped for some of the top matches on the card. Dutch Mantell feels that SummerSlam could be where LA Knight finally wins his first main roster title.

Logan Paul and LA Knight have been feuding recently and will face each other for the United States Championship at SummerSlam in Cleveland. This week on SmackDown, Knight outsmarted Logan by stealing his truck and ending a very entertaining segment with the reigning US Champion.

Dutch Mantell admitted to enjoying the latest angle. On the recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Smack Talk, he also shared his prediction for Paul vs. Knight. According to the former WWE manager, LA Knight was in line to win the US Championship.

"See, Paul has done nothing as far as the title. He has lost every big match he has had so far, so maybe he would turn, and I'm going to say 50-50, but I'm going to edge out and put the needle over LA Knight. I think he goes over. It's about time he won something." [From 50:29 to 50:49]

Dutch Mantell noted that LA Knight winning the title would not frustrate anybody, as fans long to see him win a major championship. As far as Logan Paul is concerned, Mantell doesn't feel that the social media star has done much for the title or has a good track record in high-profile matches.

Dutch loved Logan Paul's work as a heel and believed the 29-year-old had successfully become one of the most despised personalities in pro wrestling.

"And it doesn't hurt anybody. It makes the fans happy, because Logan Paul has some heat. He has some legitimate heat with those people; they just don't like him, and he is a perfect heel. That's what heels need to be: smart a**. You want to like them, but you can't. There is just something holding you back." [From 51:07 to 51:32]
