Roman Reigns was left battered and bruised to end the latest edition of WWE SmackDown. A massive update on The OTC’s future is now available heading into Survivor Series: WarGames.
Jimmy Uso kicked off the latest edition of SmackDown before Roman Reigns joined him in the ring. The OTC looked like a changed man as he asked the WWE Universe to acknowledge his cousin.
Later in the night, Jimmy Uso had his first match since WrestleMania XL against Solo Sikoa, who kicked Jimmy out of The Bloodline six months ago. Jimmy was undone by Sikoa, who had The Bloodline’s help to take him down.
After the match, Roman Reigns attempted to save his cousin from a beatdown but the numbers game proved to be too much for him. The show ended with Jimmy telling Roman they needed help to even the odds.
Heading into Survivor Series: WarGames, The OTC will reportedly be showing up on every single episode of SmackDown. This is great news for WWE fans, who will likely see their Tribal Chief live on every upcoming episode of SmackDown. However, the line-up for the November 1, 2024, edition of SmackDown before Crown Jewel is still unclear.
The upcoming October 18, 2024, episode of SmackDown set to emanate from Colonial Life Arena has Roman Reigns advertised for the event. He is also featured for the October 25 show set to take place at Barclays Centre, Brooklyn.
The November 1 episode will likely be pretaped at the same venue, with Roman in attendance. This will be followed by the November 8, 2024, show at KeyBank Center in New York where The OTC is scheduled to show up. The final two episodes before the Survivor Series Premium Live Event at Fiserv Forum and Delta Centre will also have the former Undisputed WWE Universal Champion in attendance.
Roman Reigns will likely recruit a team ahead of WWE Survivor Series: WarGames
The clock is ticking, and it looks like WWE will lock Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso inside the WarGames structure with Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline at Survivor Series. The only way The OTC can hope to win is if he can find the right men to stand by him inside the steel structure.
Fans could see Paul Heyman return ahead of the PLE to help his Tribal Chief ahead of the big contest. Reigns could also go back to his roots and seek some help from Jey Uso and Sami Zayn.
Alternatively, he could turn to some new blood on SmackDown or take help from Cody Rhodes, Randy Orton, or some other major stars. It would help him get the better of Solo Sikoa and his Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames.
