WWE RAW's debut on Netflix is expected to feature huge superstars and possibly some legends. Wrestling veteran Greg Gagne recently predicted a 10-time World Champion would be at the show.
The Rock returned to in-ring competition this past April after nearly eight years of absence. He then went on hiatus following his confrontation with Cody Rhodes on RAW after WrestleMania XL. In October, The Final Boss made a surprise appearance at Bad Blood. He made a cryptic gesture to The American Nightmare, Roman Reigns, and Jimmy Uso before leaving.
While John Cena has previously confirmed that he would return on RAW's debut episode on Netflix, Gagne predicted on the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast that The Rock would also be there.
"Oh, I'm sure The Rock will be there; yeah!" he said. [29:39-29:41]
WWE analyst suggested a scenario for The Rock's potential return on RAW
On his Notsam Wrestling podcast, WWE analyst Sam Roberts did not rule out the possibility of The Rock making his comeback on the season premiere of RAW on Netflix on January 6, 2025.
The 41-year-old suggested a scenario in which The Final Boss could return to confront Roman Reigns after the OTC's possible victory over Solo Sikoa in Tribal Combat and reclaim the Ula Fala.
"Here's where I would do it. Roman Reigns beats Solo Sikoa and has the Ula Fala back as The Tribal Chief, but then The Rock shows up. And The Rock stares him down, gets in the ring, not in the aisle, gets in the ring, stares him down, and maybe, that's how we go off the show. Although, do you want The Rock vs. Roman Reigns to be for the Ula Fala? But is Solo Sikoa gonna hand the Ula Fala over to The Rock?" he said.
It will be interesting to see if the 52-year-old WWE legend shows up on January 6 and whether he will play a role in the Tribal Combat between the OTC and Sikoa.
