Roman Reigns seemingly turned babyface upon his return to WWE at SummerSlam 2024. Former WWE host Matt Camp now thinks The Original Tribal Chief may get an unexpected tag team partner.
The superstar in question is none other than the legendary John Cena. He will hang up his boots by the end of 2025 after one last run as an in-ring competitor in the Stamford-based company.
Former The Bump host Matt Camp recently discussed potential opponents for The Cenation Leader on his The Wrestling Matt podcast. Meanwhile, a fan brought up Reigns' name. Camp said there was no point in having them fight again after they went head-to-head at SummerSlam in 2021. However, he suggested another idea for them to work together.
The former RAW Talk host claimed the 47-year-old could form an unexpected tag team with The Original Tribal Chief.

"Rob brought up Roman. I think that's more of a tip of the cap. I think they've done that already. I think, you know, do you find a way to get Roman and Cena on the same side of a tag team? Yeah, I think there's something like that," Camp said. [31:01 - 31:20]
John Cena and Roman Reigns have a common enemy in WWE
When Roman Reigns went on hiatus following his defeat to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, Solo Sikoa took over The Bloodline. The former Enforcer eliminated Jimmy Uso and Paul Heyman and added Tama Tonga, Tonga Loa, and Jacob Fatu to the faction, anointing himself the new Tribal Chief.
As Sikoa continued to take shots at Reigns, the latter recently returned to WWE to target his former stablemate. While Sikoa now has massive heat with The Original Tribal Chief, he also has a history with John Cena. The two feuded last year, with Sikoa beating the 16-time World Champion at Crown Jewel.
The Cenation Leader later took out the self-proclaimed Tribal Chief at WrestleMania 40 during Reigns' match against Rhodes.
With Reigns and Cena having Sikoa as a common enemy, it will be interesting to see if Matt Camp's prediction comes true.
