WWE is heading to Madison Square Garden for the Live Holiday Tour on December 26, 2024. Among many bouts that have been announced so far, a major championship match is also scheduled to take place at the legendary venue.

According to MSG's official website, LA Knight, CM Punk, Sami Zayn, Rey Mysterio, The Wyatt Sicks, and The New Day are slated to appear at the show in New York. Additionally, Liv Morgan vs. IYO SKY for the Women's World Championship and Seth Rollins vs. Bronson Reed in a Steel Cage Match have also been confirmed. To raise the stakes of the highly-anticipated event at The World’s Most Famous Arena, Gunther vs. Damian Priest was also announced for the World Heavyweight Championship.

At the upcoming Survivor Series: WarGames, The Ring General will defend his World Heavyweight Championship against The Street King. It is important to note that the announcement made by MSG's website in affiliation with WWE does not spoil the outcome of the title match at the premium live event on November 30, 2024, in Vancouver, Canada.

Former WWE star says major superstar could appear at Survivor Series to affect the result of Gunther vs. Damian Priest

Matthew Rehwoldt (fka Aiden English in WWE) shared his two cents on the upcoming world title match between The Archer of Infamy and The Ring General. He predicted that a former Universal Champion could interfere during the title match.

Speaking on the Reebooked Wrestling podcast, Aiden English speculated that Finn Balor's interference could prevent Damian Priest from winning the World Heavyweight Championship from Gunther.

"I think that works [Finn Balor's interference]. I think that takes care of everybody. I think they still feel very confident in Gunther as a World Champion," Rehwoldt said.

It remains to be seen if The Street King can defeat The Imperium leader at Survivor Series to become a two-time World Heavyweight Champion.
