Massively popular WWE star gets knocked out by Logan Paul after calling him out on SmackDown

A massively popular WWE star got knocked out by Logan Paul tonight. This happened after he called out the United States Champion on SmackDown.

LA Knight's rise in popularity has been astronomical. Within the span of a year, Knight has become one of the most popular stars on the WWE roster. Despite this growth, he is still yet to win a title on the main roster. He challenged Roman Reigns a couple of times for the Undisputed WWE Championship but came up short each time.

However, LA Knight recently shifted his focus towards Logan Paul and his United States Championship. A few weeks ago, he challenged Logan for the title only to be rejected by the champion. Hence, Knight took matters into his own hands and invaded Paul's house, which got his attention.

Tonight on SmackDown, Knight came out to the ring and called out Paul, who didn't show up. Instead, Santos Escobar came out and called Knight a delusional fanboy.

When Knight said he has beaten Santos in the past and is hence looking past him, the former NXT star tried to attack him. However, Knight turned the tables and hit the BFT. This distraction allowed Logan to jump him from behind. He sent Knight into the ring post before hitting The Megastar with a right punch.

Next week, LA Knight will square off against Santos Escobar and Logan Paul in a Money in the Bank qualifying match.
