Mia Yim suffered a tragic personal loss recently. She has now provided a heartbreaking update ahead of SmackDown.
Mia Yim has been lost in the shuffle of WWE's women's division for the past few months. She was involved in a brief feud with Chelsea Green but has done nothing noteworthy lately. It looked like her career was starting to pick up after she won her match in the first round of the Women's United States Championship tournament.
However, her personal life took a major hit as her dog Jolene passed away this week. She made the heartbreaking announcement on social. Now, she has announced that she will be traveling for SmackDown today, and it will be the first time since losing her dog.
"Leaving for Smackdown today. I haven’t traveled since losing her. It’s been a rough morning. Pretty girl, remember I always come home. Keep your spirit following me," she wrote.
