Cody Rhodes walked out of Bash in Berlin 2024 still the Undisputed WWE Champion. After crossing a major obstacle in the form of his friend, Kevin Owens, Michael Cole seemed to confirm that a big rematch was up for The American Nightmare's next title defense.

At Bash in Berlin, Rhodes and Owens went to war and it was The American Nightmare who stood tall in the end. After the match, it looked like the heel turn would finally happen, but Owens congratulated his friend and the two embraced. So the turn seems off - for now, anyway.

What was interesting was the fact that Michael Cole confirmed that Solo Sikoa will be next for Cody Rhodes - setting up a rematch from SummerSlam 2024.

New Champs in WWE! More RIGHT HERE

This follows up on the incident where the new Bloodline, courtesy of Jacob Fatu, took out Roman Reigns and handed The Ula Fala back to Solo Sikoa after The OTC briefly had it in his grasp.

Sikoa made it clear that he's targeting the WWE Championship and that his loss to Cody at SummerSlam wasn't the end of their rivalry. We can only assume that the match will happen at WWE Bad Blood 2024.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens in the continued feud between Cody Rhodes and the new Tribal Chief, whether Roman Reigns returns before their clash or not.
