Michael Cole may have provided a major spoiler for WWE SummerSlam during the Kickoff Show today. There are several title matches scheduled for the Premium Live Event tomorrow night.
Liv Morgan will be putting her Women's World Championship on the line against Rhea Ripley tomorrow at WWE SummerSlam. The 30-year-old appeared during the Kickoff Show but ran away before Ripley showed up.
Michael Cole introduced The Judgment Day's Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley, and they got a huge pop from the fans in attendance. However, Cole accidentally referred to Ripley as the reigning Women's World Champion and later claimed he was giving his prediction for tomorrow's title match.

Rhea Ripley defeated Becky Lynch to retain the Women's World Championship at WrestleMania XL. However, it was her final title defense as she was forced to relinquish the championship due to injury.
Liv Morgan defeated Becky Lynch to become champion at King and Queen of the Ring and attempted to seduce Dominik Mysterio away from The Eradicator during her hiatus from the company. However, Dirty Dom has made it known that he is committed to Ripley ahead of the title match tomorrow night.
WWE Hall of Famer predicts Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan's rivalry will not end at SummerSlam
Wrestling legend Teddy Long believes the feud between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley will continue after SummerSlam this weekend.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine podcast, Teddy Long praised the storyline so far. The former WWE authority figure added that he does not think Morgan will lose the title at SummerSlam and that the company likely wants to extend the storyline.
"Why take it right there? Lot of mileage there, you know. Lot you can get out of there, you know. I agree with Bill [Apter], I don't think she's gonna drop it [the Women's World Title] either but that goes on down the line. You keep that program running, and as long as the people are behind it and it's drawing money and selling tickets, why mess it up?" Long said. [7:23 onwards]
