Survivor Series: WarGames 2024 was expected to have a chaotic atmosphere and it certainly did not disappoint fans with all the action-packed matches, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats. Amid all the action, an absent WWE star being name-dropped by Michael Cole has raised questions about his return.

The name in question is none other than Drew McIntyre, who last competed against CM Punk in a brutal Hell in a Cell Match at Bad Blood 2024. While there were no titles involved, the bout had a high-stakes feel to it as both men gave it their all. At one point, Punk used a toolbox to attack The Scottish Warrior which led to the latter suffering a head injury.
It appears that Michael Cole won't be forgetting that moment in a hurry. A few seconds after the Best in the World rushed out of his cage shoving Roman Reigns, he was seen entering the ring with another toolbox. This prompted Cole to comment about the last time Punk had used a toolbox and he also name-dropped Drew.

Although Shubhajit admires numerous pro wrestlers, his current favorite is WWE superstar Drew McIntyre. He is fond of The Scottish Warrior’s character work and innovative quips.
If there is one storyline he can work on in WWE, Shubhajit would book Roman Reigns’ future with The Bloodline following WrestleMania XL, where he lost to Cody Rhodes. He would have Reigns’ stablemates excommunicate him, laying the foundation for a gimmick change for the former. After Reigns’ exit from the faction, Shubhajit would portray him as an anti-hero trying hard to claw his way back up to the top.
