The Rock might take the pin from Roman Reigns, according to a WWE veteran
The Rock has been out of the ring for a long time. While The Great One isn’t one of the biggest names in wrestling, he is still one of the most famous celebrities in the world.
Vince Russo believes beating The Rock would solidify Roman Reigns as an even bigger name in WWE. Speaking on Sportskeeda’s Writing with Russo, he noted that there’s only one reason The Rock would lay down for Reigns.
"I think what plays into count is I think it would be a very different story if Roman Reigns was not family... Rock may be looking at it the other way around, what it does for Roman. I mean Roman beating him bro, really, like now that really solidifies Roman Reigns. Bro if this was just another you know, main eventer on the card? I think it might be a little different."
Many expect the big match to take place at the upcoming Elimination Chamber PLE. However, the latest reports state that Reigns may not work at the show, which could move the match to WrestleMania 40.
