Hulk Hogan's public image seemingly took a hit last night on WWE RAW, judging by the fan reaction to his entrance. A former champion, EC3, talked about the topic and shared his thoughts on the incident.
Hogan has always been one of the most recognizable names in the pro wrestling industry. However, his prominence in the eyes of the fans has decidedly dipped of late, considering how he was booed on WWE RAW's first Netflix episode. According to EC3, his political affiliations may have played a part in the matter.
Speaking on Sportskeeda's UnSKripted, EC3 answered a question about why the allegations against Stone Cold Steve Austin have hardly diminished his star power but Hogan's popularity seems to have tanked.
"Is he (Hulk Hogan) the most hated and least respected? I think personally, last 24 hours, sure. But like respecting the man or the body of work, it's like a musician or an actor gives opinion that you don't like, do you disrespect their work? I would think, 'Well, maybe do, maybe don't, whatever you want to do.'"

He continued:
"I agree though Steve Austin is the effin man. Like Steve Austin is the GOAT, and I think the only thing that holds him back from official GOAT status was that run being cut short with his neck injury." [24:20 onwards]
It remains to be seen if either Hulk Hogan or Stone Cold Steve Austin will make another WWE appearance in the near future.
