The Bloodline saga changed the landscape of WWE forever, as it created new characters and brought new stars to the forefront of the audience. Recently, Sami Zayn commented on the faction's storyline and its importance amongst the fans.
Sami Zayn was a crucial part of The Bloodline's storyline heading into and throughout early 2023. The Honorary Uce was the most popular character out of the herd, which elevated Zayn to new heights in the promotion.
In an interview on In The Kliq, the multi-time Intercontinental and Tag Team Champion addressed the faction and the storyline's impact on fans. The 40-year-old star also stated that he hopes to have a positive effect on people, as many were invested in the said saga over the past four years.
"Anytime I do anything, I just hope it has some sort of positive effect on people... I do get fans telling me that this story or this match or this thing you did really meant a lot to me, and it came in this time of my life. You just don't know what you're doing and what effect it has on people because you're putting it out in front of such a wide number of people; you don't know how it's impacting people," Zayn said. Sami Zayn comments on The OG Bloodline's reunion on WWE SmackDown
Earlier this year, The OG Bloodline reuniting became a core storyline as Solo Sikoa created his faction with new members during Roman Reigns' absence from WWE. In November 2024, the original faction reunited for the first time in over a year.
In the coming weeks, the group defeated Solo Sikoa's Bloodline in a WarGames match with some injuries. In the same interview, the four-time WWE Intercontinental Champion was asked about the faction and reflected on his time with the group for a second run.
"It feels great to be able to do it again cause usually, when things are done, they're done. To get a second crack at it, it's a treat," Zayn said.
It'll be interesting to see how the story unfolds in the coming weeks when Roman Reigns takes on Solo Sikoa for the Ula Fala when WWE RAW debuts on Netflix.
