Mustafa Ali took to social media to send a message after his former partner revealed that he's set to leave WWE. The star in question is Dijak who was once part of the Retribution stable which was led by Ali.
Dijak has been a part of the Stamford-based promotion for over seven years. The star was a mainstay on NXT before moving to the main roster in 2020 as a part of Retribution. However, the faction failed to make any kind of impact and was soon disbanded. After treading water for some time, the 37-year-old returned to the developmental brand in 2022.
Dijak was promoted to the main roster once again this year and was assigned to the RAW brand in the WWE Draft. However, he did not make an appearance on the red brand. The former Retribution member recently revealed that his current contract will be expiring tomorrow after which he will leave the company as he was not offered a new deal.
Mustafa Ali, who himself left the global juggernaut last year, showed excitement for the next chapter of Dijak's career, stating that the four male members of the Retribution need to run it back without masks now that they are all no longer a part of WWE.

Mustafa Ali was the leader of Retribution in WWE
Retribution made its presence felt in WWE in 2020 during the Thunderdome Era. The group initially consisted of Dijak, Mace, Shane Thorne, Mercedes Martinez, and Michin. Mustafa Ali was soon revealed as their leader. Shortly thereafter, Martinez requested her removal from the group, after which she returned to NXT.
However, the group was constantly subjected to poor and inconsistent booking and met with negative reactions from fans and critics alike. With Dijak set to leave, Michin is the only group member remaining in the global juggernaut.
Ali and Mace have fared well since leaving the Stamford-based promotion and have been wrestling for different wrestling companies around the world. Fans also have high expectations from Dijak and believe he could emulate his former leader's success.
