WWE veteran Montel Vontavious Porter (MVP) shared an interesting update today amid rumors that his time in the company has come to an end. The veteran currently serves as the manager for Omos, but The Nigerian Giant has not been seen on WWE television since the April 5 episode of SmackDown.

There have been reports today that MVP, Tamina, and Bobby Lashley have been removed from the company's internal roster. MVP shared a salute emoji after the reports surfaced online, seemingly confirming he was on his way out of the company. The 50-year-old has also shared a video with his son at Fury Fighting Championships and told fans that he was doing great.

"It is a lovely Sunday. I'm here with my little dude, we are at Fury Fighting Championships in Houston. You having fun? So am I. I am in the best of spirits, I love all of you, don't worry about me. I'm just fine," he said.

Former WWE writer claims The Hurt Business was "a miss from the get-go"

Wrestling legend Vince Russo recently suggested that The Hurt Business faction was a miss because the company didn't incorporate the Black Lives Matter movement into their storyline.

Bobby Lashley, Cedric Alexander, and Shelton Benjamin comprised The Hurt Business, but the group was disbanded in 2022. Speaking on Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Outlaws show, Russo said there was a misunderstanding about what Black Lives Matter was and MVP would have been the perfect person to educate the WWE Universe.

"This is where it was a miss from the get-go. Bro, they started The Hurt Business during the height of Black Lives Matter. Now, here is the thing. Chris, you know better than anybody, especially for white people; there was a great misunderstanding of what Black Lives Matter really was. That was the perfect opportunity to tell that story and to explain that story, and to educate people... And who would have been better than MVP? They totally ignored it," the WWE veteran said. MVP has also recently claimed that Triple H turned down the idea of reuniting The Hurt Business despite their popularity.
