WWE witnessed a massive walkout in 2022 when Naomi and Sasha Banks left the company. Recently, The Glow addressed the controversial walkout and cleared the air on whether there would be concerns behind the scenes.
Naomi and Sasha Banks (Mercedes Mone) took a stand against the creative and walked out of the Stamford-based promotion as they left their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship. The two ventured into different areas and eventually returned to professional wrestling.
In an interview with WWE Deutschland, a fan asked Naomi about her experience upon returning to the company at Royal Rumble 2024. The former Women's Champion took a moment to address the walkout and felt good about returning to the company:
"That too felt like a relief, you know what I mean? Just all the negativity surrounding the walkout and everything that Mercedes [Mone] and I've experienced. It just felt like a big weight off my shoulders to be back home. To be accepted back home, and just to have the opportunity to continue where I started and finish the story; my journey," Naomi said. She stated there were no backstage concerns and felt a bit nervous as she returned to the Stamford-based promotion:
"Just to have the opportunity in my career where I started and finish things the right way, and to reconnect with my WWE fans. Just to push through that entire time in my career. It felt really really good and special to be back. People [crowd] made me feel that. Even backstage, you know, I was a little nervous, but it was like I had never been away." (From 16:27 to 16:57)

Naomi wants to capture gold in WWE after her return in 2024
Earlier this year, Naomi returned to the company after nearly two years and entered the Women's Royal Rumble match. Later, TNA Knockouts Champion Jordynne Grace also appeared, and the two got to share the ring one more time.
Later, she formed The Big Three alongside Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill. The trio took out Damage CTRL without IYO SKY at The Showcase of The Immortals in Philadelphia.
In a recent interview, she addressed her championship aspirations in the Stamford-based company, as it's been over two years since The Glow had gold around her waist.
Earlier this year, she faced Bayley and Tiffany Stratton at Backlash France in a Triple Threat match for the title. Sadly, she failed to defeat The Role Model.
