Naomi has suddenly found herself in a position where she is a champion again. However, she will already be defending the title next week, and the superstar she will be facing botched her name as a babyface turn continued to be teased.

For context, this week on SmackDown, Nick Aldis told Bianca Belair that the only way to retain the Women's Tag Team Championship is to vacate them and crown new champions. However, Belair was hesitant, so Naomi stepped in to replace Jade Cargill—similar to what Piper Niven did when Sonya Deville was injured as one-half of the tag champs last year.

After the 25-year-old Tiffany Stratton lost to Michin and failed to advance to the finals of the Women's United States Championship tournament, Candice LeRae met with her and Nia Jax backstage. LeRae told Jax that they have a Tag Team Title shot next week against "Naoma" and Bianca Belair.

This, of course, was a botch on her part as she meant to say Naomi. However, the more notable part of the segment was LeRae repeatedly taking shots at Tiffany Stratton, whose face turn was teased.

What did Candice LeRae say? For one, she took repeated digs at Tiffany Stratton for failing to win her match against Michin, suggesting that maybe singles championships aren't her forte.

After they left, Stratton looked at her briefcase and seemingly teased a cash-in happening very soon.

Stratton has lost a lot of matches since becoming Ms. Money in the Bank, but this is a surprisingly common strategy WWE uses before a successful cash-in.
