Former WWE manager Jim Cornette recently spoke about Vince McMahon's portrayal in the Netflix docuseries. The show released on the popular streaming site earlier this week.

The six part docuseries showcases the rise and fall of wrestling's greatest promoter. The show dives deep into Mr. McMahon's history, his childhood, his career in the business and his eventual downfall.

On a recent episode of Jim Cornette's Drive Thru, the veteran detailed that the production team glossed over some wrestling history. He pointed out that Vince was credited for coming up with the idea of organizing WrestleMania II in three different cities. However, Cornette clarified that Dusty Rhodes had a similar idea in November the year before where he planned to host a wrestling event in Greensboro and Atlanta.

"Vince said my idea for WrestleMania II, how can we top WrestleMania I? We're gonna do it in three different cities. They didn't mention the previous November, Dusty had the idea to do it in two different cities. So Vince was really just doing one more city but he didn't have the concept idea." [From 8:35 - 8:54]

The docuseries showed Vince McMahon's relationship with Shane McMahon

During the show, the producers also explored Vince McMahon's complex relationship with his son Shane McMahon.

Throughout the series, Shane detailed how he was always looking for a pat on the back from his dad. He pointed out that he just wanted his father to recognize his efforts and praise him for once.

Shane recalled that he finally got that acknowledgement from Vince McMahon after his WrestleMania 32 matchup against the Undertaker. Both father and son got emotional after the match and shared a hug backstage.
