The New Day has quickly transformed into one of the most hated tag teams on the WWE roster. A member of the team shared a social media update after the latest edition of Monday Night RAW.
This past Monday, The New Day made their way to the squared circle in an attempt to justify their actions to turn on Big E. However, the hostile crowd kept booing during the entire segment, which ended with Kofi Kingston's mother refusing to hug him before leaving the spot.
After the show, Kofi Kingston's tag team partner, Xavier Woods, took to Instagram to share multiple pictures of himself alongside his teammate. The former WWE Tag Team Champion also shared a two-word message in the caption, seemingly as a response to the duo's recent treatment from fans and fellow stars.
"New Beginnings 📸 - @hmmhmarie," he wrote.

Wrestling veteran was pleasantly surprised by how The New Day storyline unfolded
Legendary wrestling journalist Bill Apter recently spoke about The New Day's 10-year celebration segment, which ended with Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods rejecting Big E's offer to be their manager and asking him to leave. The duo also mocked the 38-year-old for being sidelined due to injury.
Speaking on a recent edition of Sportskeeda's The Wrestling Time Machine, the veteran revealed that he thought the segment would end with Kofi and Xavier's fallout. Apter stated that he never anticipated that the two would reconcile and turn their backs on Big E.
"When they showed Kofi [Kingston] and Xavier [Woods] walking into the building alone, they didn't have a celebratory feel about them. They were just like, it was another night. When they came to the ring, it was all dressed up and beautiful, and they were very blasé about the thing. I thought the two would get into a confrontation with each other. Big E comes down, and they hit a turnaround angle I never thought would happen where Kofi and Xavier Woods bonded when we thought they would kill each other, and they turned their backs on Big E. What a great turn of events," he said. [From 05:03 to 06:06]
