Fans believe Randy Orton should return and take down this WWE Superstar!

Randy Orton has been out of action from WWE for an extended period of time due to injury. His absence has left a void in the roster that, despite being filled with massive talent, is not the same without the 14-time WWE Champion's presence.

Austin Theory recently decided to goad on Twitter about his standout victories against The Viper's contemporaries Edge, John Cena, and Rey Mysterio. In response to this, the WWE Universe were quick to point out that the 25-year-old has not beaten Orton.

However, several fans have expressed their belief that Theory is in fact the modern-day "legend killer," citing his impressive streak of wins over WWE legends. This coming Friday on SmackDown, the United States Champion is scheduled to defend his title against another veteran: The Irishman, Sheamus.

A top AEW star just called one of his colleagues 'spoiled' and 'narcissistic' HERE.

You can check out some fan reactions to Theory's aforementioned post below:

The young star has been on a roll as United States Champion, having defeated Seth Freakin' Rollins for the belt back in November 2022 at the Survivor Series PLE. Since then, he has defended his title numerous times against legendary stars, managing to come out on top each time.

John Cena does not believe in WWE star's on-screen character

WrestleMania 39 opened with Austin Theory defeating John Cena in a match that many deem to be a subpar affair. Both stars were unable to pull off the level of quality displayed in the other bouts of Night One.

Despite this, the win was huge for Theory, who continued his streak of vanquishing strong opposition.

John Cena recently spoke on NotSam Wrestling, detailing what he told Theory before their title match in the opening slot of this year's WrestleMania card. He also expressed how he feels about the latter's on-screen character:

"Fans can see through the BS if you don't believe in your character. It's what I said to Austin Theory, 'Dude, you are young, you are athletic, you will work for this company, you'll do interviews, you'll go X, Y, and Z. I don't believe what you do when you're out there, I don't. I said it to him personally before I said it publicly."

The Leader of Cenation expressed the same message in the buildup to The Grandest Stage this year, as he verbally destroyed Austin Theory on the March 13, 2023, episode of Monday Night RAW.
