WWE's Chief Content Officer, Triple H, has made a major announcement during the latest episode of Friday Night SmackDown.

The Hall of Famer announced Nick Aldis as the new General Manager of SmackDown. The former NWA Champion quickly got into his new role as he declared that Kevin Owens was the latest member of his roster to compensate for Main Event Jey Uso's move to RAW earlier this year.

In a backstage segment later that night, Aldis was confronted by Charlotte Flair in his office. He was aware of incidents that happened during Fastlane. He felt that it was unfair and announced that Flair would face Damage CTRL's IYO SKY on next week's episode for the WWE Women's Championship.

The duo had a confrontation earlier during the show. After Bayley's win against Zelina Vega, Damage CTRL attacked the LWO member. However, Flair made her way out to save the day. It will be interesting to see which of these two women comes out on top next week.
