Newly formed tag team gets surprising pinfall over Legado Del Fantasma

A newly formed tag team's good run continues tonight on WWE SmackDown. They got a key pinfall victory over Legado Del Fantasma.

After a disappointing run on the main roster, Baron Corbin was sent to NXT, where he reinvented and repackaged himself. During this time, he formed a successful tag team with Bron Breakker, and together, the two of them captured the NXT Tag Team Championship.

However, this alliance ended after they lost the tag titles, and Bron Breakker was drafted to the main roster. A couple of weeks later, he was drafted to SmackDown, where he formed another tag team with Apollo Crews. Their chemistry must've impressed WWE management as they were included in the gauntlet match on the blue brand to determine the number one contenders for the WWE Tag Team Championship.

Baron Corbin and Apollo Crews kicked off the match against Legado Del Fantasma's Berto and Angel. This was a perfect start for them, as they have had problems with the group in recent weeks.

After a hard-fought battle, Corbin and Crews won the pinfall over Legado Del Fantasma, eliminating them from the match.

It will be interesting to see who will be next in line to face the WWE Tag Team Champions.
