Bobby Lashley touched upon a bevy of topics during his recent appearance on The Laboratory with Plaz. His discussion included his current situation with WWE.
Lashley praised the man he defeated to win his first WWE Championship, The Miz. Sixteen years after his debut in World Wrestling Entertainment, The All Mighty captured the top prize of the company from the A-Lister, a week after the latter had won it from Drew McIntyre via a Money in the Bank cash-in.
On the March 1 episode of RAW in 2021, Bobby Lashley defeated The Miz in a Lumberjack Match to win the WWE Championship. He spoke about the 43-year-old's unique character who could beat everybody, as well as lose to anyone, without it ever affecting his reputation, unlike others. Curiously the examples he used were Cody Rhodes and Akira Tozawa.
"Miz is the character that can lose to everybody in the roster but can beat everybody in the roster, too. Nobody would think anything different," Lashley said. "He can lose to [Akira] Tozawa a Monday, and then the next week he can beat Cody [Rhodes]. Not too many people can do that, because sometimes if people lose to a certain person, it destroys them as a character. Miz lost to everybody, but Miz beat everybody, too." [From 49:34 to 49:58]

A year after his first win, Bobby Lashley captured the WWE Championship for a second time from Brock Lesnar at the Royal Rumble 2022. However, he was removed from his title defense at Elimination Chamber the following month, which led to The Beast regaining the belt albeit not from The All Mighty himself.
Bobby Lashley called his win over Brock Lesnar at WWE Royal Rumble a "beautiful victory"
Very few WWE Superstars can claim that they were victorious in a wrestling match against ex-UFC mauler, Brock Lesnar.
Bobby Lashley told Ariel Helwani on BT Sport after defeating The Beast at Royal Rumble 2022 that it was a big step in the right direction for him. He went on to state that he wanted to know if he could withstand everything Lesnar threw at him in the ring, and he was able to. He called the match his "beautiful victory."
"It was one of the greatest moments. We talked about it this week, beating Brock Lesnar is a big step in my career. And going out there the main thing I wanted to do as a fighter, I wanted to see what he had. Everybody knows Brocks gonna throw you around a lot, he's gonna hit the F5. He's gonna try to beat you up, he's gonna try to beat you down. I wanted to see if I can take everything that he had. And I did. I took everything he had and then I pinned him at the end. So, of course this is a beautiful victory for me," he said.
There is still a section of the WWE Universe that hopes to see these two behemoths lock horns again as their final encounter, which needed a decisive winner, ended in a disqualification victory for The All Mighty.
