Nia Jax and current champion set to challenge for the Women's Tag Team Titles; Tiffany Stratton gets left out

Nia Jax will compete in a championship match on next week's episode of WWE SmackDown. However, she won't be defending her title, as she'll be challenging for one instead.

On the blue brand this week, Nick Aldis was about to strip Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill of the Women's Tag Team Championship, since The Storm has been out of action for several weeks. However, Naomi opted to be Belair's partner and Cargill's replacement. The two stars were then told that they would have to defend it next week.

Meanwhile, Tiffany Stratton faced Michin in the semi-finals of the Women's United States Championship tournament. The Buff Barbie lost the match. After the bout, Candice LeRae informed Tiffany and Nia Jax backstage that she got herself and The Irresistible Force a Women's Tag Title match against Bianca and Naomi.

After Nia left the scene, The Poison Pixie told Stratton that perhaps singles wrestling wasn't her speed. The latter was not happy at all, and she picked up her Money in the Bank contract, establishing that she was still capable of becoming a singles champion on the main roster.

Candice LeRae is the WWE Women's Speed Champion, so she and Nia Jax could become double champions.
