Nia Jax fires shots at former "friend" ahead of WWE RAW

Nia Jax has called out a former friend ahead of tonight's edition of WWE RAW in North Carolina. The veteran is currently competing in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

The Irresistible Force defeated Jade Cargill this past Friday on SmackDown in the Quarterfinals of the Queen of the Ring. She won the match via disqualification after taunting Cargill's daughter in the front row. The Women's Tag Team Champion responded by hitting Jax with a chair, resulting in her being disqualified.

Jax took to her official X account today to share an interesting message. She noted that she has been ghosted by a "friend" after she has had some success in her career.

"Isn’t it s****y when a “friend” ghosts you because you start doing well… 🤔," she wrote.

A wrestling fan responded to Jax and claimed that the person was never her friend to begin with. Jax reposted the fan's message ahead of RAW and agreed with them, as seen in her post below.

Nia Jax names WWE NXT star as someone she'd like to have a match with

Nia Jax returned to the promotion last September and has had a successful second stint with the company so far. She recently disclosed that she would like to get in the ring with an NXT star and views her as a future star on the main roster.

Speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling's Emily Mae in an exclusive interview earlier this year, Jax was asked who she would like to face in the company. She named WWE NXT star Lash Legend as someone she would like to share the ring with. Lash Legend is currently a part of the Meta-Four faction in NXT.

"You know I have been saying it, Lash Legend is an incredible talent I see in NXT. And I would love to get in the ring with her." [1:56 onwards]

Rhea Ripley defeated Nia Jax at WWE Elimination Chamber 2024 to retain the Women's World Championship. It will be interesting to see if Bianca Belair can defeat the 39-year-old on WWE SmackDown to advance to the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament.
