You won't hear many people saying Nia Jax doesn't deserve to be WWE Women's Champion. After her dominant performance that saw her rise to the top of the women's division once again, she embraced a real-life Bloodline member who was ringside.

Except for Liv Morgan, the following three championship matches at SummerSlam 2024 saw title changes. One of those beneficiaries was Nia Jax, who won thanks to a distraction from Tiffany Stratton. However, the distraction might not have been intended to be just that. Two annihilators were enough for The Queen of the Ring to put Bayley away.

After the match, Jax was seen hugging Ata Johnson fka Ata Maivia, and the mother of The Rock. As you may know, Ata is the daughter of "High Chief" Peter Maivia, one of the patriarchs of the legendary Samoan family.

It was also a nice little throwback to WrestleMania 34 in 2018 when Nia Jax won her first RAW Women's Championship. After dethroning Alexa Bliss, she'd embraced Ata Johnson.

Being a part of The Rock's side of the family, Nia is very close to Ata Johnson. Even Afa Anoa'i Jr. fka Manu stated in Sportskeeda's SummerSlam Pre-Show that he wanted to see his distant cousin, Nia become champion.

This victory cements Nia's second run with the Stamford-based promotion a huge success and we're hardly a year in.
