Nia Jax has been WWE Women's Champion for just over four months now. Her in-ring work has been well documented over the years, but so have her various issues with the WWE Universe on social media. Jax is no stranger to trolls, and she's known to stand up for herself, but now things may have gone a bit too far before cooling off.
The Irresistible Force recently lost a WarGames Advantage match to Bianca Belair, and then she was on the losing team inside the double-cage structure at Survivor Series, along with Liv Morgan, Raquel Rodriguez, Tiffany Stratton, and Candice LeRae. The 40-year-old drew some heat in the last week for some of her post-WarGames exchanges with fans on social media, including a line about how she loves the emotions she brings out of her critics.
Jax deactivated her account on X this afternoon. The SmackDown Superstar continued to draw backlash from fans, while Rikishi criticized her chair shots on his podcast. She was also blasted by another wrestling legend on Sportskeeda Wrestling. The current Women's Champion has not explained why she deactivated her account as of this writing.
Corey Graves deleted his Tweet! More details HERE.
Nia Jax has kept her Instagram account live and has been active all afternoon but has not addressed what happened on X. Her last in-ring action was a dark match win over Naomi at RAW last week.
Nia Jax rumored for WWE SmackDown swerve
World Wrestling Entertainment will return to the XL Center in Hartford, CT, for Friday's SmackDown. This will be the go-home episode for Saturday Night's Main Event.
Nia Jax has been confirmed for SmackDown, but the WWE Women's Champion is not booked in a match as of this writing. However, Jax is expected to have a big role in the Women's United States Championship tournament match, with sidekick Tiffany Stratton taking on Michin. The winner will advance to SNME to face the winner of Friday's Bayley vs. Chelsea Green match to crown the inaugural WWE Women's US Champion.
WWE has teased tension between Nia Jax and Tiffany Stratton in recent months, so it will be interesting to see if Jax costs Stratton the tournament. Nia is not currently scheduled to wrestle at SNME.
