Nick Aldis has been an extremely busy man on Night One of the WWE Draft on SmackDown. Following 4 rounds of draft announcements, the SmackDown General Manager announced two huge matches for Backlash: France - including one match for The Bloodline.
The first night of the WWE Draft underwhelmed fans as there were several superstars who simply stayed on the same brands. To be exact - including the NXT Drafts, there were 11 stars who didn't change brands while only five did.
Regardless, as Backlash 2024 is only a little over a week away, Nick Aldis announced two huge matches - Bayley vs. Naomi vs. Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women's Championship, and Solo Sikoa and Tama Tonga vs. Kevin Owens and Randy Orton.
Kevin Owens has had a bone to pick with The Bloodline as usual, this time focused more specifically on newcomer Tama Tonga.
It led to a huge brawl this week where Randy Orton came in for the save and helped Kevin Owens stand against The Bloodline. It's going to be an important tag team match on Sunday in Lyon, France.
As for Bayley, her desire to get a decisive contender wasn't fulfilled as SmackDown' latest signee Nia Jax attacked her and Naomi.
