Nick Aldis announces huge new WWE title; reveals what it looks like and what it's called

Nick Aldis cut a promo from backstage on SmackDown announcing a new WWE title. The belt's design has also been revealed.

After reports emerged earlier tonight that a new title will be revealed on SmackDown, that's exactly what happened. Nick Aldis announced that there was a new championshi[ for women going forward in WWE.

The SmackDown General Manager introduced the WWE Women's United States Championship, and it became clear that the women had a lot to compete for. He said that the title would not be awarded or handed over; instead, it would be used to take the winner's career to new heights.

He revealed what it looked like, and with the white-banded belt, the design was similar to the men's United States Championship.

It remains to be seen which female star becomes the first-ever women's United States Champion. She will have her work cut out for her, as the competition for the title is sure to be tough, given that everyone will want to be the inaugural champion.
