Nick Aldis has been doing a good job as the General Manager of WWE SmackDown. The 38-year-old has admitted that a new signing by Triple H has significantly upgraded the production quality of the shows. Moreover, he also gave Lee Fitting credit for the recent storyline between Sami Zayn and Jey Uso.

Nick Aldis was recently invited to Chris Van Vliet’s INSIGHT podcast. Speaking about the recent production developments, the GM said that the Stamford-based promotion is doing a brilliant job.

He also highlighted the role played by Lee Fitting in improving things for the company.

“Lee Fitting has done such an incredible job… For a guy of his caliber. In his mind, they are small and simple kind of changes that he’s made, but to us, we’re like, ‘Woah.’ Some of the shots he’s been coming up with and developing are absolutely incredible. The stuff with Sami and Jey up in the concourse of the arena and coming down. You go, ‘How did they not do this before?’ Sometimes, you can’t see the forest through the trees,” he said. Nick Aldis believes WWE has no upper limit

As the biggest pro wrestling company in the world, WWE faces the pressure of always outdoing itself to keep the fans hooked. In the same interview, Nick Aldis said that he believes the company can’t just pull it off but also stated that the value it provides has no upper limit.

Moreover, he also said that the Stamford-based promotion aims to go head-to-head with the NFL when RAW moves to Netflix in January 2025.

"There is no ceiling for the WWE. Literally, none… These are conversations that have happened internally. We don’t have to be almost as big as the NFL. Why not? We’re both going to be on Netflix. Have to go more global. When you think about where the company started and all the way through, ‘It can’t possibly get any bigger.’ Not according to Nick Khan," he said. [H/T Fightful]

With Nick Aldis currently trying to manage the heat between the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes and Kevin Owens, it would be interesting to see how the company closes the year 2024.
