WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis is seemingly not pleased for a major reason, following Survivor Series: WarGames. It has something to do with Randy Orton.
The December 1, 2023 edition of SmackDown saw Aldis and RAW General Manager Adam Pearce attempt to sign Orton to their respective brands amid his free agent status. The Viper was interrupted by Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso, and he eventually fought off the duo with the help of LA Knight. The 14-time World Champion connected with an RKO on Uso and signed the blue brand's contract shortly after.
Nick Aldis then entered the ring to celebrate his big acquisition but got hit with an RKO instead. On the one-year anniversary of the occasion, the USA Network's X/Twitter handle shared some photos and a clip, recalling the things that happened that night.
Aldis took notice of the post and expressed his displeasure, stating that only celebrating Orton's return to WWE SmackDown would have been enough. He demanded that the social media manager needs to show up in his office on Monday.

"Could have just celebrated the 1yr anniversary of Randy's return. Social media manager, see me in my office Monday morning," Nick Aldis said.
WWE veteran takes a shot at Randy Orton
Randy Orton has been out of action in the sports entertainment juggernaut ever since Kevin Owens' vicious piledriver on the November 8 edition of SmackDown. He was stretchered out of the arena and taken to a local medical facility.
While speaking on a recent edition of Sportskeeda Wrestling's Writing with Russo, Vince Russo stated that WWE can't write off The Viper for long as the piledriver looked "horrible."
"They can't write him off too long with the way that Piledriver looked. Like if he is out longer than two weeks, he is a, he is a sissy Marie, bro. That's a mistake, because that looked horrible." [From 5:00 onwards]
It will be interesting to see when Orton makes his return and how he takes his revenge on The Prizefighter.
