During the latest episode of SmackDown, WWE announced that a transfer window was now open. Michael Cole explained that the General Managers from SmackDown, RAW, and NXT will be working together over the next few weeks to shuffle talent before the red brand moves to Netflix on January 6, 2025.
This announcement is a huge development, as it could lead to major names, possibly including several champions, switching brands. During the latest episode of SmackDown, General Manager Nick Aldis was seen meeting with none other than reigning World Heavyweight Champion Gunther. The Ring General has been at the top of the men's division on RAW for the past year, and it remains unclear whether he was in talks with Aldis about a potential move to SmackDown.
Another star who was uncertain about his future is Carmelo Hayes. Melo confronted Aldis to ask about his status on SmackDown. Nick assured Hayes that he had something planned for the latter before walking away.

Elsewhere on the show, Aldis was seen having a conversation with Dominik Mysterio, who is currently appearing on RAW as part of The Judgment Day. With the transfer window in full swing, it will be interesting to see which superstars switch brands in the coming weeks.
