Nick Aldis changed the landscape of WWE SmackDown when he became the General Manager under Triple H's leadership. Today, the 38-year-old star named Liv Morgan the MVP of 2024 and explained the reason behind it.
Liv Morgan arguably had the best year in the Stamford-based promotion as he reached new heights in the company on Monday Night RAW as the Women's World Champion. Nick Aldis also thinks the same when it comes to the champion of the red brand.
In an interview with Chris Van Vliet, the 38-year-old WWE star spoke highly of Liv Morgan and called her the MVP of 2024. He praised her work in the promotion and leveled up hugely in the past few months as the Women's World Champion:
"And now with Liv. To me, Liv Morgan, I don't know what you want to call it breakout. I shouldn't really say break out. She's been around a long time, but she's the MVP of 2024, she leveled up in a huge way, immensely," Aldis said. [H/T - CVV]

Nick Aldis introduced a new Women's title on WWE SmackDown
Nick Aldis made several changes to the brand in the coming months when he was appointed as the SmackDown General Manager by Triple H. The 38-year-old star signed new talents and acquired veterans for Friday Night SmackDown. However, the biggest move was yet to come.
Earlier this year, there was chatter around the possible introduction of a new mid-card title for the women's division. Later, a new title came to the developmental brand as Ava announced the NXT Women's North American Championship and Kelani Jordan became the inaugural champion.
Earlier this month, Nick Aldis made a blockbuster announcement and revealed the Women's United States Championship for Friday Night SmackDown. Moreover, he announced a tournament for the newly introduced title.
On the latest edition of WWE SmackDown, the tournament kicked off with Bayley defeating B-Fab and Candice LeRae to qualify. It'll be interesting to see which star becomes the inaugural Women's United States Champion.
