WWE SmackDown General Manager Nick Aldis has a major Randy Orton problem. The Viper and Kevin Owens had gone berserk at Crown Jewel even before their match could begin. Moreover, when Aldis and Adam Pearce tried to stop the duo, the latter received an unexpected RKO from Orton. Now, WWE has publicly questioned the blue brand’s GM.
It was evident that both wrestlers just wanted to punish each other and didn’t care to fight in a fair match. Adam Pearce and Nick Aldis showed up when the brawl escalated too much after The Prizefighter hit a Stunner on the match referee. This only resulted in the RAW General Manager getting flattened with an RKO.
The SmackDown GM may plan to address this issue in the upcoming Friday Night show. However, WWE posted a tweet on X and questioned whether he was going to do anything about the matter. Responding to this, Aldis said that he didn’t appreciate a public callout like this.
“I don't appreciate being addressed in a public forum like this,” he wrote.

Adam Pearce has also called out Nick Aldis
While Nick Aldis gave a curt reply to the Stamford-based promotion, he was also called out by Adam Pearce after Randy Orton attacked him. The RAW General Manager even used an accusatory tone in his tweet and pointed out Aldis’ inability to control a top star on his roster. He even pointed out the SmackDown GM’s inaction so far.
“RKO out of nowhere. SDGM nowhere to be found,” he wrote.
Adam Pearce also has his fair share of unruly and rowdy wrestlers on the red brand. However, be it Drew McIntyre, Bronson Reed, or Pete Dunne, nobody has crossed the line of laying hands on a General Manager. It would be interesting to see how Nick Aldis will tackle this matter in the upcoming episode of SmackDown.
