Nick Khan has undoubtedly been one of the driving forces of the current hot era that WWE is experiencing. In a brief interview at the Fanatics Fest NYC, he admitted that he was really proud of a current storyline.
Nick Khan is seemingly hands-off when it comes to WWE creative because that's not his specialty. His specialty lies in the big-picture, revenue-driving decisions such as WWE's behemoth multi-billion dollar deal with Netflix to broadcast RAW from next year. However, he likely has some say when it comes to the biggest matches that WWE markets for shows like WrestleMania.
In an interview with Jim Biringer at the Fanatics Fest NYC, Nick said that he was really proud of the storyline involving Roman Reigns and what Triple H has done with Creative on this.
"It’s a gift that keeps on giving to the fans. You’ve seen with Triple H and creative, Roman, what everybody has done together. One thing leads to another and it keeps on living at a high level. We’re really proud of that.” (H/T - ITR Wrestling)
Nick Khan was reportedly in the same area as Jon Moxley for an event in LA
The WWE President may have had a meeting with a superstar who left before he joined the company - Jon Moxley.
Khan was reportedly spotted at the Joshi Promotion Sukeban event, where Jon Moxley's wife Renee Paquette was on commentary duty. It's unclear whether the WWE President was there scouting talent or simply enjoying wrestling because he is a long-time fan.
Either way, one can only imagine what the interaction between Moxley and Khan must've been like. Khan, while heavily criticized during the pandemic era of WWE when he got his start, has slowly turned into someone that fans respect and credit as much as Triple H for the current hot era that wrestling is experiencing.
