WWE NXT is set to move to The CW in the coming week and superstars are gearing up for it. Meanwhile, Nikkita Lyons provided an update on her health and current in-ring status after months of hiatus.

Last year, Nikkita Lyons returned to WWE from an injury. Unfortunately, the return lasted less than two months as she tore her ACL and went on another hiatus. The 25-year-old star hasn't competed inside the square circle since January 2024.

Recently, Nikkita Lyons provided an update regarding her health after her ACL surgery. She wrote an inspiring message ahead of NXT's big debut on The CW. However, Lyons didn't provide an update on her return to in-ring competition:

"It’s been a minute 🥊 8 months post op on my left ACL. now im even 🦿😁🦿lmao… it’s not over when you fall, it’s over when you don’t get back up and just quit. no one knows all you’ve been through but you. take your power back and protect your peace. 🦁," Lyons wrote.

Nikkita Lyons previously stated she wanted to return to WWE NXT by Oct 2024

Nikkita Lyons had a promising start on the developmental brand when she signed with the company. The 25-year-old had a few notable feuds on the brand against Lash Legend and Zoey Stark before she got injured twice on WWE NXT.

However, the star remained positive and worked harder to make an in-ring return. In an appearance on Booker T's Hall of Fame podcast, she stated she wanted to return by Oct 2024 for Halloween Havoc:

“It’s been two months since my surgery, and honestly, I feel like these two months went pretty quick, at least for me, because run on the grind every day. But right now, I’m hoping by Halloween Havoc. I’m hoping that’ll be a good time. But also I want to make sure… it should be ready to go. But I don’t want to say an exact, you know, like, ‘It’s gonna be here,’ because with injuries, it’s kind of day by day," Lyons said.

It'll be interesting to see if Lyons can make it in time for the premium live event.
