Cody Rhodes has reacted to WWE Hall of Famer Diamond Dallas Page's return to the company's video game franchise. He spoke highly of the veteran and stated that nobody deserved it more.

DDP, along with other legends and celebrities, appeared at Bad Blood last month as a ringside guest. The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion is close to The American Nightmare and was part of his entourage in AEW. After the PLE, DDP announced on X that he signed a new Legends contract with WWE.

Diamond Dallas Page will return to the WWE 2K video game series in WWE 2K24 as a downloadable character. The last time he was featured in the game was in WWE 2K19, released in 2018. Cody Rhodes, who's the cover star of the latest game, shared his thoughts on DDP's return, stating:

"I mean, to have DDP in 2K is huge for a ton of reasons. I'd say reasons that are obvious, like it's a former world champion, he's a Hall of Famer. He's one of the guys who is the biggest part of the Monday Night Wars on Monday Nitro... He gave me the best advice I've ever been given. Whatever happens to you next will be the best thing that ever happens to you. The most positive, genuine, wonderful person in the world. Not gonna say too much because I'll get emotional talking about D, but no one deserves it more," said Rhodes.

Cody Rhodes became the first Men's Crown Jewel Champion

Last Saturday, The American Nightmare collided with Gunther in the main event of Crown Jewel for the inaugural Men's Crown Jewel Championship. Cody Rhodes won the match via pinfall and became a double champion.

He also received a special ring and was presented with a new belt by Triple H. Cody Rhodes has been the Undisputed WWE Champion since WrestleMania XL, and it's heavily speculated that he will collide with The Rock at The Grandest Stage of Them All next year.
