WWE Superstar Oba Femi commands a strong presence in the NXT locker room. This week, the NXT North American Champion was invited to The Miz TV on the gold and white brand. Interestingly, while the other guest of The A-Lister was supposed to reveal how he could defeat Femi, he received a reality check instead. The name in question is Tony D’Angelo.
The Don faced off against The Ruler at No Mercy for his championship. However, he failed to put any dent in the momentum of Oba Femi. Instead, he developed a fear of the dominant fighting champion. After being convinced by Adriana Rizzo, D’Angelo stepped up to face Femi again.
Tonight, when The Miz asked him how he thinks a second match against the North American Champion would be different, The Don praised Femi. Moreover, he vouched his case by saying his faction and fans were behind him. Listening to this, The Ruler gave the 29-year-old star a reality check.
Femi noted that neither Tony's crew nor fans would be fighting the match for him next week in St. Louis. Moreover, he will be all alone and afraid when he steps into the ring with him again.
The Ruler also noted that men like D’Angelo had a ceiling unlike him. Lastly, he ended the segment by quoting supervillain Thanos and saying, “I am inevitable.” It would be interesting to see if The Don would be able to halt Oba Femi's unstoppable run on WWE.
