The Judgment Day's Damian Priest defended the World Heavyweight Championship against Gunther at WWE SummerSlam this past Saturday night. Finn Balor betrayed The Archer of Infamy during the match, and the leader of Imperium was able to capture the title.
It has already been announced that the 36-year-old will be defending the title against Randy Orton at the Premium Live Event at the end of the month due to the controversial finish during the finals of the King of the Ring tournament earlier this year.
Vince Russo criticizes decision to book Gunther versus Randy Orton at WWE Bash in Berlin
Wrestling veteran Vince Russo recently shared his thoughts on the World Heavyweight Championship match set for Bash in Berlin at the end of the month.
Speaking on Sportskeeda Wrestling's Legion of RAW show, Russo claimed the finish to the upcoming title match was far too predictable. He noted that the company would never decide to take the title off of the leader of Imperium in Germany.
"Those are very simple questions. We don't even ask them anymore. 'Oh my God, Randy Orton is gonna wrestle Gunther!' And they're gonna take the title off Gunther after three weeks, yeah, you think? Yeah, sit through the match between Randy Orton and Gunther so you can watch the unpredictable finish because we don't know what Triple H is gonna do. Oh my God, we have no idea who's gonna go over in that match," Russo said. [From 26:05 onwards]

The veteran held the Intercontinental Championship for a historic 666 days before he was dethroned by Sami Zayn at WWE WrestleMania XL. Only time will tell how long the RAW star will be able to hold onto the World Heavyweight Championship moving forward.
