"Oh mom" - 32-year-old superstar reacts to emotional footage of her mother in the crowd at WWE Backlash

A WWE Superstar has reacted to a video of her mother celebrating in the crowd during Backlash this past weekend.

WWE Backlash took place in Puerto Rico over the weekend and featured an incredibly lively crowd. The audience erupted for Bad Bunny and the cameos by Carlito and Savio Vega during his Street Fight against The Judgment Day's Damian Priest at the premium live event.

Zelina Vega also got a wonderful reaction from the crowd and she was visibly moved by it in the ring. The 32-year-old gave it her all in her title match against Rhea Ripley, but The Eradicator proved to be too much and retained the SmackDown Women's Championship at the premium live event.

Even though she came up short, Zelina's mother was in the crowd and was seen celebrating during the match. Vega took to Twitter to react to a clip of her mother cheering her on in the crowd after she connected with a 619 on Rhea Ripley at Backlash.

"Oh mom 😂 the keeper of La Chancla 🩴," tweeted Vega.

Zelina Vega pays tribute to AEW star during WWE RAW

Zelina Vega paid tribute to her husband, All Elite Wrestling star Malakai Black, during last week's edition of RAW.

Malakai Black, formerly known as Aleister Black in WWE, was released by the company in June 2021. He currently leads the House of Black faction in AEW with former superstar Buddy Matthews (Buddy Murphy in WWE) and Brody King. The House of Black are currently the Trios Champions in AEW.

Zelina Vega connected with a move last week on the red brand and noted on Twitter that she wanted to pay tribute to her husband. A wrestling fan uploaded a clip of Zelina hitting Rhea Ripley with a Meteora and Vega noted that was what she was referring to.

Zelina Vega and the LWO faction have been drafted to SmackDown. As a result, they have been separated from Rhea Ripley and The Judgment Day for the time being. Only time will tell whether Vega will get another chance at a singles title.
