WWE star Omos recently shared that he was petrified ahead of his match at WrestleMania 37 but was calmed down by a legend of the wrestling business. The veteran has not competed since the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal on the April 5 edition of SmackDown.

In an interview with The Undertaker on the Six Feet Under podcast, Omos discussed teaming with AJ Styles to defeat The New Day at WrestleMania 37 to capture the RAW Tag Team Championship. The 30-year-old shared that he was petrified ahead of the match at The Show of Shows.

"Petrified. I remember that was WrestleMania in Tampa, like three, four years ago. I remember that was like my because during the whole time when I was with AJ Styles, we were in the Performance Center, [with] just the screens. I remember we go out there and Vince goes, 'Oh, we're going to introduce everybody, we come up to the stage. I think [the audience at Raymond James Stadium at WrestleMania 37] was about like 25% capacity, and the energy from the audience was -- I was so overwhelmed. I almost cried," he said.

The former champion revealed that Kevin Nash approached him backstage and calmed his nerves.

"I see Kevin Nash, he goes, 'Come here, big man.' Gives me a big hug, and I'm like [breathing heavily]. He's like, 'Breathe. It's okay. It's okay. Breathe, breathe, breathe.' I remember when I went out there, it feels like a flash, that whole match. I can remember bits and pieces, but I was just so overwhelmed by everything," he added. [H/T: Fightful]

WWE star Omos shares his thoughts on MVP exiting the company

Omos recently commented on MVP exiting the company earlier this year. MVP has since joined All Elite Wrestling and reunited with Shelton Benjamin and Bobby Lashley.

In an interview with Adrian Hernandez, Omos discussed MVP's departure from WWE. He noted that he was going to miss his former manager but thought it was time for him to move on.

"Since my time on WWE, MVP, I've spent the most time with him on the road," Omos stated. "We drove everywhere, three, four hours, you name it. It was him and I, hip to hip, so I'm definitely gonna miss him. I think it was time. I think our time that we spent together, I was able to learn a lot from him." [From 03:06 – 03:25]
