WWE Superstar Omos is set to make his debut with Pro Wrestling NOAH ahead of the premiere episode of RAW on Netflix. Notably, the 416-pound giant has also officially joined a new faction within the Japanese promotion.

The Nigerian Giant previously allied with AJ Styles, and together, they captured the RAW Tag Team Championship. He was also managed by veteran MVP, but their partnership did not yield significant success.

Omos' last televised appearance was on an episode of SmackDown in April 2024, when he participated in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal. Following more than 260 days of inactivity, it was announced that the former RAW Tag Team Champion would make his debut appearance at Pro Wrestling NOAH.

During a recent NOAH press conference, it was confirmed that Omos is now officially the newest member of the Team 2000X faction. The WWE star will team up with Jack Morris to face Naomichi Marufuji and Takashi Sugiura for the GHC Tag Team Championship match on January 1, 2025.

WWE legend makes a bold claim about Omos

The Undertaker has been vocal about being a huge fan of The Nigerian Giant. The Hall of Famer recently shared his two cents on how the 30-year-old star should be booked in WWE.

On his Six Feet Under with Mark Calaway podcast, The Phenom stated that Omos does not need to be pinned in matches, emphasizing that there should always be an alternative way to determine the winner. The Undertaker believes the 416-pound star's true value lies in his status as a dominant, awe-inspiring presence, not in holding championships.

"Somebody like Omos doesn't need to ever be pinned. There's always an out. There's always an out somewhere. He doesn't get pinned. There's nothing in almost any scenario that makes sense. I don't care what comic book fantasy world that you live in. He doesn't need a belt. He is a walking, breathing, living attraction," he said.

It remains to be seen if Omos will capture the tag team championship outside of the Stamford-based promotion.
