A former WWE agent recently compared Vince McMahon to Triple H as leaders of the Stamford-based company. He claimed The Game is better than the former Chairman in a significant aspect.
The veteran in question is none other than Greg Gagne. Although he made a few appearances as a wrestler in WWE/WWWF in the 1970s and 1980s, he later worked under Vince McMahon as a road agent and trainer. During a recent episode of the Straight Talk with The Boss podcast, the 75-year-old praised Triple H for his work in the Stamford-based company after taking charge of creative following McMahon's departure. He stated that the promotion is back to "great storytelling" and putting together terrific matches.
Gagne also pointed out a significant difference between McMahon and The Game, claiming the former Chairman never respected the talent:
"I can see a big change from when Vince [McMahon] had it. To me, and being around him, Vince didn't really have a real respect for the talent. It was all about him. And Triple H, from being in the industry, and you know, starting at the bottom and working your way up, what we all did, (...) It was great because you learn about the industry from every part of it. And to me, watching Triple H operate that, that's the way he is and he gives everybody an opportunity and respects everybody in their positions," he said. [From 11:24 to 12:15]

WWE champion recently compared between working under Triple H and Vince McMahon
In a recent interview with GameRant, WWE Women's Champion Nia Jax also compared working under Triple H's creative leadership to the previous regime under Vince McMahon.
Jax disclosed that The Game listens to the talent and their ideas, giving them more leeway. She added that the 14-time World Champion treats them like they were his children, letting them find themselves in the ring and giving them advice on how to improve:
"I highly enjoy it. I'm not knocking the previous regime because they had a great way too, but under this Triple H regime, I enjoy the fact that I'm able to not feel scared to try something new on-screen and develop my character a little bit more with his guidance," she said.
Triple H will appear on Netflix's docuseries Mr. McMahon, scheduled to drop on the streaming platform on September 25. It would be interesting to see what The Game said about the former WWE Chairman.
