Pat McAfee is one-half of the voices of WWE RAW every week. He has also sporadically stepped inside the squared circle to perform. Most notably, against Austin Theory, Vince McMahon and The Miz at WrestleMania, against Baron Corbin at SummerSlam, among others.

While conversing with WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H about the dangers of their profession on his podcast The Pat McAfee Show, he commented on a potential in-ring return.

He recounted his match against Baron Corbin at SummerSlam 2022 where he self-admittedly struggled to match Corbin, who is a trained athlete unlike him. McAfee added that when people ask him about returning to the ring, he can't help but go back to this match and his experience in it:

"This is SummerSlam in Nashville," Pat McAfee said as he stood up on the table. "That's little Charles Robinson [referee] right there, and that is me, 'Oh my God. I'm about to fall right on [Robinson] right here, and then I just stumble off onto Baron Corbin. That has been on my mind forever. So anytime somebody is like, 'You getting back in the ring?' I'm like, 'There is a moment when I thought I was dying,' and the only person I could see was [Robinson], and he's like, 'What do you need from me?' That can happen literally at any moment."

McAfee went on to win the match against Baron Corbin at SummerSlam. That same year, he defeated Austin Theory on the grand stage and immediately afterward, lost an impromptu match to former WWE Chairman Vince McMahon. This fatefully became McMahon's final match, as he resigned from World Wrestling Entertainment for good following Janel Grant's lawsuit in January 2024.

The Pat McAfee Show was hijacked by The Wyatt Sicks ahead of WWE RAW

For a second time this week, The Wyatt Sicks appears to have hinted at an impending attack on Pat McAfee. On the latest episode of his podcast, a message that read "You Lied" was displayed on the screen. But then the show continued.

The Wyatt Sicks made their debut last week in the show-closing moments of RAW. They took out most of the crew members backstage and even seemingly got some athletes. This includes Chad Gable. However, Triple H clarified about Gable's status for the upcoming episode.

The truth is, it remains ambiguous regarding what the new WWE faction's message was when getting hold of Pat McAfee's show. However, perhaps the commentator needs to keep an eye out.
