Pat McAfee has strong opinions and it appears that one such opinion has been bolstered by a WWE Superstar’s recent actions, which has left him having heat with the latter. He said as much now, and it remains to be seen how things play out between them.

While McAfee is a commentator on RAW, he also has considerable influence given his popularity with the WWE Universe. He was not very happy with Chad Gable and revealed that there was heat with the leader of Alpha Academy as he was unhappy with how the star has been carrying himself ever since he turned heel on the red brand.

Gable's actions this week on WWE RAW left the commentator even more convinced of his stance. Chad not only berated Akira Tozawa for his loss, but he took things a notch higher by saying that he was also unhappy with Otis for losing his match to Sami Zayn.

Otis faced Zayn to weaken the Intercontinental Champion before he eventually faced Gable, but the champion was the one who picked up the win. Gable was not only furious with the result, but he also decided to take out his frustration by slapping Otis across the face, despite being friends with him for years.

McAfee was seething at the leader of the Alpha Academy and said during the show that he had heat with the star. He said he didn’t appreciate the way that Gable had been treating the rest of the members of the Academy. Given Pat's closeness to Triple H and management, it remains to be seen if this ends up turning into a bigger feud.

“It’s on his a**. I don’t like the way he’s treating the Alpha Academy right now. Chad Gable s*cks. He s*cks,” said Pat on RAW live.

Whether Pat McAfee likes him or not, Chad Gable is getting ready for a title shot

Pat McAfee may not approve, but soon, Chad Gable could be a WWE champion. The star is getting ready for a title shot and will challenge Zayn for his Intercontinental Championship.

He had been hoping that Otis would soften up the champion ahead of their match, but that plan did not seem to work in Gable's favor. He will have his hands full as he faces Zayn and Bronson Reed in a Triple-Threat match in Saudi Arabia.

It remains to be seen if Triple H punishes the star after the heat he has accumulated with Pat McAfee. The bout will take place at the King and Queen of the Ring Premium Live Event in Saudi Arabia on May 25, 2024.
